Vain Mining is an exhilarating multiplayer experience where you step into the stout boots of a determined dwarf in sun-scorched desert ruins.  Your mission?  To mine, craft, and sculpt your way to greatness!  But beware - the desert isn't just a barren wasteland; it's a battleground for vanity.  Collect more resources than your opponents, all to build the biggest statue of yourself.

Gameplay Highlight

- Collect Resources: Gather precious ores, gems, and rare materials strewn across the environment.  Every swing of your pickaxe counts!

- Statue Showdown: Assemble your personal monument - a towering statue that immortalizes your dwarf's ego.  The bigger, the better!

- Engaging Combat: Engage in fierce skirmishes with rival dwarves.  Will you protect your stash or risk it all for victory?

- Score as a Currency: Spend your hard-earned resources wisely.  Upgrade your gear, enhance your combat prowess, or invest in your statue - decisions, decisions!

Additional Instructions

This version of the game requires a minimum of 2 players to play and is designed for a 4 player experience.   To begin playing, ensure you're connected to Steam prior to launching the game.  Then select the "Create Game" option in main menu.  Specify the parameters you want for Time, GameMode, Map, and Number of Players.   Do NOT check UseLan? button if you're using online multiplayer.    

Once a server has been created, any other player can select "Join Game" from the main menu, refresh the server browser, and your game will then appear with the option to join.  The game itself will not start until all players have connected to the game.
